Nha was in English class with visually impaired people
2 weeks of volunteering have passed incredibly quickly, it seems like my volunteer recruitment interview was just taken place yesterday, and the feeling of that first meeting is still staying in me. The volunteer time of 2 weeks was not enough for us to understand each other better, to be together for more amount of time, but it was enough for me to change myself, enough for tears to stream down when the farewell party was coming…
Before joining the program, I didn’t even think that I could communicate confidently in English, or I could do an extremely significant thing for the society and for the less fortunate but energetic and positive people. But after this voluntary program, I realized that "nothing is impossible if you try your best".
I want to say thank you to my friend for introducing Blind - link with me, I would like to thank Ms Lieu - who gave me the opportunity to take part in this program, the three volunteers, Mr. Keith – a humorous man, Mrs. Path – an emotional woman, and especially Mr. Tom, whom I directly assisted to.
One of the great things about volunteering, is that you’ll have the big opportunity to befriend with a lot of young and enthusiastic people. For me, they are four girls who accompanied me, who call me "leader" with love, they have incredibly skills, always full of energy and motivation.
Thank you everyone for sharing this unforgettable time with me. "
